Job description

We’re seeking a locum CRNA to join a community hospital in Connecticut. This facility is working toward Level 3 trauma designation and offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a 3:1 supervision model. This is a great opportunity for CRNAs looking for a steady caseload of routine procedures with strong clinical support.

Position Details:

Location: Connecticut

License Requirements: Active CT license and CT DEA preferred

Credentialing Timeline:

90 days with active CT license

Up to 120 days if licensing is required during credentialing

Trauma Level: Preparing for Level 3 trauma designation

NICU Level: Level 2

Supervision Model: Directed supervision – 3:1

Call: TBD

Practice Setting: Hospital-based

Case Types:

Bread-and-butter cases including:
Ortho, podiatry, general surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, vascular (open and cath lab)

No complicated neuro, thoracic, open heart, or high-risk OB

Pediatric cases limited to healthy children only

  • Straightforward Case Mix: Focused on routine, bread-and-butter procedures—no high-risk or highly specialized cases
  • Supportive Supervision Model: CRNAs work under a stable 3:1 directed supervision with anesthesiologists
  • Credentialing Flexibility: Active CT license preferred, but the facility will consider licensing strong candidates during the credentialing process
