CRNA Locum Opportunity in Iowa

Job description

Start Date: August 2025
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Day Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call Hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Call Requirements:
• On call every night during the 2-week rotation, including the weekend in between and at the end
• Solo provider during rotation
• 30-minute response time required
Rotation Details:
• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule
• Start/end time: 7:00 AM every other Monday
• PRN CRNA available for support on Mondays and Wednesdays
Certifications Required:
• BLS
• PALS
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
Facility Practice Model:
• Independent CRNA practice
• Solo coverage during 2-week on rotation
• Must be proficient in spinals, blocks, and epidurals
• Case logs required to verify proficiency
Case Types:
• Endoscopy (ENDO)
• Pediatrics (10+ years old, healthy patients)
• Orthopedics
• ENT
• General Surgery
• Vascular
• Pain Management
• OB/GYN
• Podiatry
Note: Approximately 125 OB cases performed last year – most call cases are OB and ENDO. Experience in these areas is required.
