Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Needed – Hospital & Surgery Centers in Iowa

Practice Setting:
Combination of hospital and surgery center locations
28 total operating room locations

Start Date: ASAP

Shift Details:
Shifts available: 8, 10, 12, and 24 hours
Call required (including some weekends); call ratio varies
Call response time: in-house or within 30 minutes via beeper

Case Mix & Volume:
Full spectrum of procedures: General, Ortho, Urology, Robotics, Cardiac, Pediatrics, and more
Average number of cases per day varies
Trauma Level II facility
Patient age demographic varies

Staffing & Support:
Team includes CRNAs and techs (no AAs)
Provider will often work solo

Required Skills & Certifications:
Proficient in regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia
ACLS and BLS required

Technology & Documentation:
EMR: EPIC and some paper charting

Additional Info:
Flu vaccination required
Providers with closed malpractice cases accepted

💰 Rate: $275/hr + Travel & Lodging covered
