$250/hr+ CRNA Locum Need in Rhode Island
Job description
Schedule Details:
• Primary call: Every 3rd weeknight and every 4th weekend
• Weekday shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Call hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Ongoing weekly need with a perm-style 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
• Call breakdown:
o First call: CRNAs take every 3rd weeknight and 4th weekend
o Second call: MDs take every day they work and every weekend they work
• 13 weeks off annually
Specific Coverage Dates Needed:
• Aug 5, 7, 8
• Sept 3–5, 8–11, 27–28
• Oct 6, 10
• Nov 1–6, 24–26, 28
• Dec 1–5, 22–24, 29–31
Credentialing & Requirements:
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
• Must hold active ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Board Certification required (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Caselogs required: Must show proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and blocks
Practice Model:
• MD and CRNA collaborative model
• Daily staffing: 3 CRNAs and 1 MD
• Full team model: 4 CRNAs and 2 MDs
• MD role: Pre-ops, run boards, PACU oversight, assist as needed, second call
• CRNA role: In-room during the day, first call responsibilities
Facility Details:
• Number of ORs: 4
• Dedicated CV room: 1
• EMR: EPIC
• Case volume: ~3,000 cases/year
• Case types: General, endoscopy, OB (~450 deliveries), orthopedics (some spines), urology, gynecology, podiatry, and cardiac (~380/year – cath lab and TEE)
