Locum Anesthesiologist needed in Dothan, AL

Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule & Coverage
3 shifts per week: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
OB shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 AM (OB not required but preferred)
Call required, including weekends and holidays
Length: 13 weeks to start, ongoing assignment

Patient population: adult, pediatric, neonatal

EMR: Paper Charting
Skills required:
General anesthesia
Adult, pediatric, neonatal
Trauma, spinal, regional, obstetrical (preferred), neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, complex ortho
Vent management
Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
Arterial line placement
Requirements
Board Certification: Not required
Active Alabama medical license (mandatory, not open to licensing)
Fellowship: Preferred
Certifications: ACLS, BNDD
Must be located at least 90+ miles from facility
Credentialing: 90–120 days (documents must be submitted within 14 days of acceptance)
