Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospitals, surgery centers
• Practice Setting: Mainly looking for general anesthesia, some OB, very small percentage or cardiac. Some hospitals where this group works are with Sharp Memorial and Scripps La Jolla , with the main need being at Sharp Memorial. When hired, discussions can be had regarding a work rotation amongst hospitals to find the best match. Group is privately owned by physicians, and is non-teaching, non-supervising.

• Other information: The Anesthesia group works at 10 hospitals and 20 surgery centers. During Interview Day: benefits, compensation, retirement plan, malpractice, share holder process, and PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) will be discussed. ASMG uses a pooled, productivity-based compensation system, meaning the physician generates more income the more they work.
