This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.



Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Setting: Hospital -
Daily Responsibilities: General Surgery, Colorectal, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Vascular, Endovascular, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics. No OB, no Pediatrics but if they are willing to see healthy pediatrics, that is a plus. No immediate supervision of CRNA’s but CRNA’s on staff so have to be comfortable with the rare occurrence to assist, if needed.
Call & Requirements: No call required, the provider will work a full time schedule, Monday through Friday. Shifts would include; 7am-3pm, 9am-7pm or 11am-7pm.
Supervision vs Independent: No immediate supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists but there are Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists on staff so the provider will need to be comfortable with the rare occurrence to assist, if needed.
Certifications required: The provider must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible, have an active and clear California Medical License a California Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate and a Basic Life Support Certificate through the American Heart Association.
Number of Operating Rooms: 424 hospital beds and 14 operating rooms.
License Required or accepting IMLC: Must have an active California License. The client will not accept licensing candidates.
