Locum - Physician - Anesthesiologist
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL
Start Date: 3/6/2025
Providers Needed: 4
Job Details:
• Shift Details:
o Varied shift lengths (8s, 10s, 12s)
o Shifts available: 7 AM - 3 PM, 7 AM - 5 PM + weekday in-house call (5 PM - 7 AM)
o Weekend in-house coverage required
• Call Requirements:
o One weekday call per week and one weekend day per month
o Call physician comes in on weekdays at 7 PM and remains in-house overnight (7 PM - 7 AM)
o Back-up home call physician available after a 12-hour day shift
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience:
o Minimum 2 years of experience required (No new grads)
o Must be able to run own cases and supervise CRNAs
• Licensure & Certification:
o Florida Medical License and DEA required before submission
o Board Certified or Board Eligible (Board Eligible only accepted within 5 years of graduation; if between 3-5 years, a detailed explanation is required)
o BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association required)
• Candidate Restrictions:
o No providers who have worked for Envision within the past 12 months and live within 75 miles
o No providers who have worked at this or an affiliated site in the past 24 months
o No providers who have worked at this or an affiliated site within a 75-mile radius
o All candidates must reside out of state (no Florida providers permitted)
o Must provide a current out-of-state driver’s license at submission
Practice Details:
• Types of Cases:
o Ortho, General Surgery, Vascular, Urology, Neuro, GI, Eyes, ENT, Thoracic, Plastics, Pain, OMFS
o Level II Trauma – No hearts, No OB, No Peds
o Required Procedures: Trauma, Regional US
• Care Team Model:
o CRNAs: 14
o MDs: 6
o Coverage includes multiple sites, including ORs, Endo, Cath/Neuro/IR
o 9 sites covered until 3 PM, 4 sites until 5 PM, 2 sites until 7 PM
Credentialing & Privileges:
• Emergency/Temporary Privileges Available – Rush start possible within 2-3 weeks for clean, Florida-licensed clinicians
• Cross credentialing at multiple sites required
