Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Setting: Acute Care Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center
Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)

Description:
A highly reputable anesthesia group in Western Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment starting July 1st. This is a no-call position with a supportive care team model and an outstanding clinical culture. The average daily volume is approximately 60 cases shared between the hospital and affiliated surgery center.

Case Mix Includes:
• General Surgery
• Orthopedics (including total joints)
• ENT, Urology, Endoscopy
• Pediatrics (low acuity), OB, Trauma (Level II)
• Plastics, Neuro
• No Cardiac, No NICU/PICU

Highlights:
• No night or weekend call
• Collaborative team: 1 MD typically supervises 3 CRNAs
• Anesthesia Tech support for complex cases
• Free hot lunch provided daily
• EMR: AllScripts (transitioning to Epic in 2026)
• Credentialing: 6–8 weeks
• Zoom interview process
