Job description
A facility is seeking a locum tenens Anesthesiology MD to provide weekday coverage. This is a supervision-only position overseeing a team of skilled CRNAs at a 2:1 ratio. MDs are not expected to perform their own cases.
The site operates three anesthesia rooms and uses Epic for documentation. The practice is low volume and very mild in acuity, with rare ASA 4 patients. There is no ICU on-site; patients requiring higher acuity care are transferred.
Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, call, or overtime expected. The role supports an incoming surgical group and requires completion of enrollment paperwork prior to starting.
