Anesthesiologist opportunity in North Carolina

Job description

Seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage!

Dates needed:
August 11 – August 18
September 10 – September 15

Schedule Details:
Monday to Monday
Call coverage with shared epidural call involving 3 CRNAs
Must be able to initiate surgery within 30 minutes of callback
Case types are General surgery, ortho, podiatry, pain management, OB/GYN, dental peds

Job Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia for both inpatient and outpatient procedures
Average case load: 12-15 patients per day per anesthesiologist
Handle about 8 admissions per day, with around 6 admissions overnight
Serve as backup in the ER and ICU, handling difficult intubations and spinals

Operating Rooms & Procedures:
Two main operating rooms
Endoscopy suite with three rooms
C-section OR

114-bed facility
Emergency Department (15 beds)
24-hour rotational shifts

New Anesthesiologists are expected to arrive the day before their scheduled shift for orientation.
Travel and lodging provided
We will cover medical malpractice!
