CV Anesthesiologist needed in Asheville, NC

Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new Anesthesiologist need in Asheville, NC.

Contract Length: ASAP start, 6 month need (potentially longer)
Shift Details: M-F, 40 hours per week

Work Details:
Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15
Average Number of general cases per month: 3500-4000
Case Mix: Busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho
Must be able to do peripheral nerve blocks
CV Shifts: 8-10 hour shifts. No call, no weekends.
Describe the make-up of support staff: 1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
· Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
· Department Description: Care Team Model: Yes, mainly supervisory but MDs can work their own cases if preferred.
· EMR: Cerner and AIMS
· Special Procedures: General, Ortho, Endo, Urology, GYN, Robotics, Neuro/Spine. Very little Peds.
* No craniotomies or transplants. There is a dedicated team to trauma and cardiac. There may be potential for vascular.
