Anesthesiologist x 15 Needed in Austin, TX

Job description

Location: Austin, TX area
Dates: Start ASAP – Ongoing (12 weeks, likely to extend)
Work Schedule: 8s, 10s, or 12s hr shifts
Call: No
Cases: OB & Regional Blocks required General, Neuro, Ortho, Pediatrics, Cardiac (limited pediatrics) Very busy L&D units
Anesthesia Model: Care Team with CAAs & CRNAs (1 MD : 4 CRNAs)
MD Responsibilities: Supervise CRNAs and do own cases
Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 18
EMR: Paper Charting with electronic orders
Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days

Additional Notes: Providers must travel between facilities in the same day if needed (travel not guaranteed) Must have OB experience within past 2 years with case logs & references Must reside more than 60 miles from worksite (proof required)

Pay Rate: $340/hr with travel & lodging stipends ($173/day lodging, $275/week car rental/mileage, 1 roundtrip flight every 3 months)

Licensing: Active TX license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
