LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST NEED WEST TEXAS

Job description

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM

We will cover medical malpractice!

FAST decision making process

Start date: likely mid-July

Case Types:
- Bread & Butter cases including Urology, Cardio-Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, and General Surgery
- Some Pediatric cases (no neonatal)
- Obstetrics is managed separately by a CRNA team; OB is not a requirement for this role
- Client performs interventional and non-interventional cardiac cases, typically handled by a dedicated team

Credentialing & Privileging:
Estimated timeframe: approximately 30 days from receipt of complete application

Patient Ages:
Range from pediatric (excluding preemies) to geriatric patients

EMR: Epic

Anesthesia Model:
Locum anesthesiologists perform their own cases
Supervision of CRNAs by anesthesiologists is rare but possible occasionally
No CRNA supervision required; anesthesiologists manage their own cases

Compensation & Travel:
Hourly Rate: $360 + Travel and lodging
Travel & Lodging:
Roundtrip flights, rental car, and lodging paid by the client, or mileage & lodging
Flights will be booked by us
Client will arrange lodging and rental car
