Anesthesiologist needed in Texas!

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens role in Texas. This position offers scheduled hours plus on-call coverage, with select fall/winter dates in 2025 and potential full-time work starting January 2026.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: 10/4/2025

Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (flexible)

Call Rotation:

Week A: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat–Sun

Week B: Tues, Thurs

Fall/Winter Coverage Dates: 10/4–5, 12/13–14, 12/27–28

Full-Time Coverage: Begins January 2026 (will consider committed part-time providers)

Cases: Neuro, General, ENT, Urology, Ortho, Trauma (designated trauma team)

Support Staff: When on call, MD supervises CRNAs until last one leaves (~11 PM), then remains on call until 7 AM. When not on call, MD works in OR.

Requirements:

BC or BE in Anesthesiology

TX license preferred (IMLC considered)

BLS & ACLS certifications

45–60 day privileging for clean files
