Anesthesiologist Needed in Central Virginia with Aya Locums

We have a new opportunity for a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist in central Virginia, just south of Richmond. This position offers an immediate start with a well-established facility seeking both full-time and call coverage. Let me know if you’d like more details or are interested in learning more.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 2-3 Months (with potential to extend)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm or 7:00am – 5:00pm)
• Shifts: 8.5 or 10 Hours + Call Coverage
• Call Details: In-house call only (No Call Backs), Typically Saturday 24-hour calls, based on need, and No 12-hour shift schedule available
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Level III Trauma Center
• Patient Population: Adults only
• Case Types: High-acuity cases including general, cath lab, spine, ortho, endo, plastics, and gyn (ASA 1–5)
• No Peds, OB, or Trauma during Daytime Shifts
• EMR: Medaxion
• Skills Needed:
o Broad anesthesia experience
o Comfortable with own spinals
o Must take in-house call
• Must be Board Certified
• Active VA License Preferred (Will Consider Strong Candidates without VA License)
