Anesthesiology Physician Needed in Charleston, WV

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6-12 months
Shift Details: 8’s, 10’s
Schedule: 7am until cases are completed for the day. (As cases are completed and the operating rooms running that day decrease, physicians are released incrementally throughout the day when assigned call physicians can safely manage the surgical schedule.)
Call Coverage Details: possible call coverage needed but call cannot be guaranteed
Work Details:
• Support staff: Other Anes MD’s and CRNA’s
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 4 FTE’s
• Patients per day: varies and is based on the location they are covering
• Patient population/age: all ages
• Department description: CAMC General (Level 1 trauma center), Memorial Hospital (Level 1 trauma center), Women’s and Children’s Hospital (Level 1 trauma center)
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: CAMC – 845 beds, Memorial Hospital – 120 beds, Women’s and Children’s - 48 beds in its pediatric inpatient unit, a 32-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 6-bed Level I Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and a 4-bed Intermediate Care Unit.
• Special procedures: Full spectrum of surgical procedures. The only transplant procedures performed are Kidney. (No liver, heart, etc.) OB and peds are a focus
• Skills required: OB, supervision 4/1, epidurals are performed individually
Requirements:
• Board Certification: required
• State license required: will license if they can qualify for the temp license

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
