Electrophysiologist needed in Kentucky

Location: Kentucky – Licensing support available

We are seeking experienced Electrophysiologists to join a flexible and collaborative team in a reputable academic hospital setting. The facility is looking to add 2–4 physicians to assist with expanding needs, offering schedule flexibility and long-term locum potential.

Flexible Scheduling: Open to 7on/7off, 2 weeks on/off, part-time options (2–5 days/week), or 1 week/month

Specialized EP Procedures: Optional 1-day procedure block shifts available. Must be proficient in ablations, pacemakers, and other standard EP procedures.

Supportive, Academic Environment: Work alongside 3 staff physicians and APPs with access to Epic EMR, lab time, and training resources.

Work Details:
Setting: Academic hospital

Schedule: 5x8s – flexible

Call: None required for locums

Patient Volume: 16–20 per half-day depending on APP support

Support Staff: 3 physicians, APPs

EMR: Epic

Patient Mix: New and follow-up visits, time based on experience with Epic

Requirements:
Board Status: BC/BE in Cardiology, Fellowship in Electrophysiology required

Experience: Minimum 1 year of EP experience

Licensure: KY license required (willing to license)

Certifications: KY DEA required

Credentialing: 120 days
