⚡ Cardiac Electrophysiologist – Lexington, KY | Flexible Schedule | Clinic-Focused with Optional EP Procedures

Job description

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Specialty: Cardiac Electrophysiology
Start Date: ASAP (Urgent need for June/July)
Schedule: Highly flexible, including:

7 on / 7 off

2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

2–5 days/week

1 week/month
Shift: 5x8s (Weekdays only)
Call: No call required – clinic-focused coverage only

🏥 Facility & Role Details:
Setting: Academic/Training + Hospital-based

Support: 3 staff EPs + APPs

Need: 2–4 additional locum EPs

Clinic Volume: 16–20 patients per half-day

Visit Times:

Follow-up: 15–30 minutes

New: 20–40 minutes

Optional Procedures:

1-day/week block available

Ablations, pacemakers, moderate sedation, TEE

EMR: Epic

Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred

✅ Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology

Fellowship-trained in EP

KY Medical License Required – Priority for candidates licensed and available in June/July

DEA: Active KY DEA registration

Experience: 1+ year in EP practice
