Facility in Lexington, KY seeking EP outpatient Cardiology locums coverage Rates: $375/hr Position: Electrophysiology Physician Start Date: August 18, 2025 Duration: 6 months (potential for extension) Type: Locum Tenens Schedule: Full-time or part-time, flexible scheduling options available Schedule: Flexible shifts: 7on/7off, 2 weeks on/off, 2–5 days/week, or 1 week/month Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM Procedures available for qualified candidates (1-day lab block optional) No call requirement Responsibilities: Electrophysiology clinic coverage (required) Perform standard EP procedures: pacemaker implantation, ablations, etc. (if applicable) See 16–20 patients per clinic half-day (with or without APP) Use Epic EMR for documentation Collaborate with 3 faculty EPs and APP team Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology (fellowship trained) Active Kentucky medical license (preferred) Minimum 1 year of EP experience DEA with KY registration Bilingual candidates strongly preferred, not required Additional Information: Credentialing: 120 days Interviews: Department recruiter followed by 1–2 department interviews Practice Setting: Academic teaching hospital Electrophysiology Lab and Outpatient Clinic Supportive environment with opportunities for clinical and procedural work
