Physician-Electrophysiology needed in Detroit, MI

Job Description:
Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiac electrophysiology services
Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with shared call coverage (2:1 ratio) with another EP physician
Travel between multiple practice locations as needed
Perform procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, as well as right- and left-sided ablations
Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks at multiple hospitals; APP assists with independent rounding
Build and manage a patient panel with strong internal referral streams and existing volume
Collaborate with an experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and a skilled support team
Join a teaching hospital with over 200 residents and 30 fellows, with opportunities to engage in education and mentoring
Contribute to high-acuity patient care in a Level I Trauma Center with advanced cardiac, stroke, and neuro-endovascular program
Use Cerner EMR system (transitioning to Epic in late 2025–early 2026)
Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated salary range of $650,000–$700,000
Sign-on bonus offered (amount to be determined.)

REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology - REQUIRED
Completion of accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships - REQUIRED
Minimum 2–3 years of post-fellowship experience - preferred
Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan Medical License - REQUIRED
Must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA - REQUIRED
Must have a clean malpractice and licensure history - REQUIRED
No candidates with second jobs or long commutes (1+ hour) - REQUIRED
