Facility in Cheshire, CT seeking Primary Care APP locums coverage Rates: $120/hr Opportunity Highlights Flexible Schedule: Work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, starting at 8 AM. Outpatient-Only: This position is exclusively for outpatient primary care services; there is no on-call requirement. Supportive Environment: You'll be part of a team that includes at least one other physician and an APP. While you may work solo at times, you will not be responsible for supervising other mid-level providers. Patient-Focused: The patient load will gradually ramp up to an average of 18 patients per day to ensure a smooth transition. The patient population is adults, aged 18 and older. Ready Caseload: You'll be stepping into a practice with two full patient panels available, offering a consistent caseload from the start. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to an adult patient population (18+). Manage a full patient panel, handling new and follow-up appointments. Work collaboratively with the existing clinic staff to ensure excellent patient care. Provider Requirements Credential: Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) is preferred, but we are open to a strong Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant). Licensure: An active Connecticut license is required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS are preferred, but not required. Start Date We need a provider to start as soon as possible, with a target start date of October 1, 2025.
