A primary care clinic is seeking a family physician associate for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located about 2 hours from Madison, WI.

About the clinician's workday

This is a 34 month family medicine assignment starting ASAP, with expedited credentialing available (typically takes 90 days). The provider will work four 10-hour shifts per week, with the preferred off day being Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Each shift includes 8 hours of patient care and 2 hours for administrative duties. There is no call required. The clinic sees about 20 patients per day across all age groups in a bread-and-butter family practice setting. BE is acceptable, and candidates must hold a DEA license and ACLS certification. COVID and flu vaccinations are not required. The provider will be supported by 2 NPs, 2 MDs, and MAs. The ideal candidate will have clinic experience, work independently, multitask effectively, and be comfortable seeing patients from cradle to grave.
