Primary Care Locum Opportunity Need in SoCal!

Job description

Contract Length: 13+ weeks (3-month minimum)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Contact Time: 7 hours/day with 1 hour for charting/documentation
Patient Volume: Average of 18–20 patients/day
Patient Population: All ages (Pediatrics through Geriatrics)
Practice Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
EMR: Epic (experience strongly preferred)
Ideal Candidate
Must be able to see patients of all ages
Strong outpatient primary care experience (minimum 2 years)
Local candidates strongly preferred (So Cal Area: LA, Long Beach, or Orange County)
Prior experience with EPIC
Familiarity with the California medical system
Providers with backgrounds in systems like Optum, Kaiser Permanente, or Providence are highly regarded
Providers coming from private practice may be considered
Credentialing Requirements
Board Certification: BE/BC
License: Active California Medical license without restrictions
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS/ACLS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in outpatient primary care
Support Staff
Providers will work alongside a full support team, including:
Practice Manager, Front Office Supervisor, Medical Assistants, Patient Care Associates
No supervision responsibilities required.
