Community Health Center Family Practice Physician

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a full time family medicine physician to hit the ground running!

Start Date: ASAP - will take 2-3 weeks for credentialing
Contact Length: 3 months with possible extension
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator.
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week.
· Patients per day: Up to 18 patients per day. Should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
· Patient Population/Age: All ages
· Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management. They may be caring for same day walk in patients.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active WA license required.
· DEA: Active WA DEA required
· Certifications Required: Will be discussed at time of credentialing. If any certs are required, provider will be responsible for obtaining. (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
·Minimum Experience Required: MUST have clean background. No malpractice will be considered. MUST have minimum of 2 years experience as an FNP and face to face patient contact within past year. Must have face to face contact with PEDS patient within past year as well.
