Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Needed – Outpatient-Only, No Call, 4-Day Workweek (Massachusetts)

A well-established health system in central Massachusetts is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologists for a 12-month locum tenens assignment. This opportunity is ideal for physicians who prefer a predictable schedule, procedural focus, and no call obligations.

Position Highlights:
• Start Date: ~October 13, 2025
• Duration: 1 year
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8-hour days (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Setting: Outpatient Endoscopy Suite attached to a hospital
• Volume: 12–13 routine screening colonoscopies/day
• Procedures: No EGD; strictly colonoscopy backlog clearance
• Patient Age Range: Adults only
• Support Team: Full nursing staff, MAs, clerical team, and anesthesia provider on-site
• EMR Systems: Cerner & G-Gastro
