Locums GI Float Pool

Job description

Schedule: 7a-4p, w/offsite call, and returning for emergencies only.
6 month block minimum with option to extend
Practice Type: Hospital, Outpatient Clinic & Free standing GI Center
100% Adults
Support Staff: 5 other physicians onsite, 9mid-levels (6 IP/3 OP), OR team and CRNAs at the ASC. APPs to assist with rounding

Required Procedures: upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, manometry interpretation, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy (w/ biopsy and w/ excision of poly), EUS, ERCP

Preferred Proc: Upper GI endoscopy (foreign body removal, cautery vs laser, injections with varices, banding of varices, ERCP, liver biopsy, insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube, Advanced endo
