📍 Location: Hawaii (Remote with Travel)
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
💵 Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year

✅ Position Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Health Care Facility Surveyor to join a quality improvement team. This is a remote position with up to 75% nationwide travel to Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities. You will help ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations and improve standards of care across long-term and non-long-term care facilities.

✅ Requirements:
✔️ Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
✔️ Active RN License (must be maintained)
✔️ Completion of CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing of SMQT
✔️ At least 2 years of recent experience accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities
✔️ Demonstrated independent decision-making and leadership skills
✔️ Ability to manage conflicting situations and seek help when needed
✔️ Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time nationwide
✔️ U.S. Citizenship required

✅ Responsibilities:
✔️ Conduct on-site surveys of healthcare facilities to assess compliance with federal regulations
✔️ Review records, observe care, and interview staff, patients, and families
✔️ Evaluate healthcare systems, consumer rights, quality of care, and facility conditions
✔️ Communicate non-compliance issues during reviews and exit conferences
✔️ Evaluate and follow up on corrective plans
✔️ Assist in training and participate in internal workgroups as needed
