✅ Qualifications
🎓 Education:
BSN from an accredited nursing program required
📜 Licensure/Certifications:
Active Nevada RN License
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications
🧠 Experience:
Minimum 2 years of NICU clinical nursing experience
1–2 years of progressive leadership or management experience
💻 Technical Skills:
NICU patient care and clinical oversight
Staff scheduling and resource allocation
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards
🤝 Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
Collaborative, solutions-oriented communication style
Focus on quality improvement and excellence in service
✅ Key Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 management oversight of the Level III NICU
Supervise, evaluate, and develop NICU nursing staff
Coordinate unit operations, including scheduling and resource management
Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care delivery
Ensure adherence to clinical, regulatory, and hospital standards
Promote a professional, team-centered culture
Support staff recruitment, training, and retention efforts
Deliver age-appropriate care aligned with neonatal patient needs
