Hematology/Oncology Opening in Alaska

Job description

MD's may be asked to do some rounding at hospital located 5 minutes away (walking distance)

Support staff- 3 FTE MD’s, 1 FTE NP, 1 per diem NP

Paper orders/charts for infusion(s)

Volume/# of patients per day- 12-13 patients per day 1hr new consults 30 mins follow ups

Length/Duration of Contract- Ongoing coverage needed

EMR- Cerner now but switching to Epic in the future

Level II trauma center

Board Certified- Yes Need to be Boarded Hem & Onc.

Active state License- Yes

Credentialing timeframe- 6-8 weeks typically

Willing to Cover Travel w/ Caps- Yes

Locums to Perm. opportunity, looking for long term fit if provider is interested
