Hem/Onc Physician - DE

Job description

-Looking for 1 FTE clinic/call coverage while a physician goes on FMLA around Sept 11 and cover for 12 weeks. Allowing 2 Physicians to split the 12 weeks. physician to cover full need. Will accept Licensing candidates. Please make sure they are able to transfer a DEA as the Licensing process can take up to 3 months and CSR can take up to 4 weeks. Preference will still go to active or IMLC candidates if those options come through.
-Interview Process (Zoom, Teams, Phone, etc): Locums will interview with Medical Director along with Physician who is leaving would like to interview. Could interview separately or together based on availability.
-EMR system: EPIC
-Reason for Coverage: 12 week FMLA, stand in for that physicians panel
-FTE or Shifts per month needed: 1 FTE, allowing 2 Physicians to split the 12 weeks.
-Inpatient, Outpatient or both: Both
-Target start date and Length of need: Around 9/11 for 12 weeks
-Locums Shift Schedule: Will cover Mon-Fri every week for 12 weeks, 8a-4p. 4 days covering Kent and 1 day covering Sussex per week.
-Call Schedule and Call Responsibilities: 1 in 6. Call week is 4p-8a night call and 24hr call Sat/Sun. during the call time they could cover both sites.
-Type of patients / cases / procedures required: Varies, no procedures. Assisting with rounding and admin
-Patient Encounters per shift: 15-20 a day
-Available support staff: NP who will help on call weeks, Hem/Fellows, LPN’s med assistants, chemo infus nurses, front desk staff, nurse navigators
-Certifications required: Board Certified or Truly BE Hem/Onc, will not accept any BC Oncology or BC
-Hematology with experience. Board Certified Hem/Onc ONLY
-Vaccination Requirements: Influenza, or mask without
