Hematology/Oncology Opening in Stockbridge Georgia

Job description

• Support staff: No other physicians at this time No APP at this time
• Schedule Details: Mon -Fri working 4 to 5 days a week; 8a-5pm. Minimum 2 wks per month
Work Details:
• Practice Setting: Clinic (outpatient)
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Avg. Daily Census: 16-18 pts per day
• Patient Age Group: Adults
• Procedures: Interdisciplinary tumor boards, Genetic testing, Blood Transfusion, IV Iron Therapy, IV Fluids, Chemotherapy, Targeted therapy, Radiation therapy. Client will consider Medical Oncologist but the locum will need to see Hem/Onc patients.
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC or BE in Hem/Onc, but will consider BC in Oncology
• State License(s): GA required—unless IMLC eligible--
(They do not need to have the LOQ in hand yet. )
• Certifications: BLS
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: min 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
Travel: flight, hotel, rental car or mileage
Name Clear: Name and NPI # required. It takes 24-48 hours for feedback. Name clear is system-wide

Submission Timeframe: From date of submission to Interview scheduled can take 1-2 weeks. From Interview to Offer can take an additional 1-2 weeks. Client will review all submissions and schedule interviews with all candidates before making decision.
