Hematology/Oncology Opening in Danville, KY

Specialty: Hem/Onc MD
Start Date: 01/13/2025
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details: 8a-5p, Mon/Tues/Wed or Mon-Thurs. (100% outpatient clinic)
Schedule: Mon--Wed or Mon-Thurs, (would consider part timer w/ at least two weeks per month - checking on this!)
Work Details: Outpatient clinic focused (There are two need, they would eventually like someone that would be open to some patient consults, but at this point they would like to get someone in for coverage in the clinic. ). Would consider someone that has only done outpatient
• Support staff: another Doc (3-4 days), 2 APPs (1 exp, 1 newer to Onc)
• Patients per day: 14-16 per day on avg
• Patient population/age: No one under 18yrs old, primarily 40-70yrs old
• EMR: Meditech?
: Oncology primarily, but would like for them to be somewhat comfy in Hematology.
Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• State license required: IMLC or KY
• Minimum experience required: 2 years’ experience
DEA required

Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks temp priv (if has a clean history and IMLC license)

Willing To License?: Yes, IMLC only

Travel Approved: flight, rental car, lodging
