Exciting Neurosurgery Opportunity for NP/PA – Seattle, WA – Maternity Leave Coverage

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a highly regarded Neurosurgery team. This opportunity is ideal for a provider looking to gain experience in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment while covering maternity leave.

Position Overview:
• Duration: Mid-June to early December 2025
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Call Coverage: Select weekends – 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM) on June 21-22, October 11-12, and November 22-23
• Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Support Staff: Yes
• EMR System: Epic
• Patient Load: 8-10 per shift
• Trauma Level: 3
• Beds in Department: 20

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-surgical care for neurosurgical patients in both hospital and clinic settings
• Conduct patient rounds, monitor recovery progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Manage on-call responsibilities as scheduled

Requirements:
• Active Washington State NP/PA License (or Compact License for NPs)
• Previous neurosurgery or surgical experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
