A Level II Trauma Center is seeking a neurosurgeon for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday

Candidates must hold current, unrestricted privileges and provide documentation of competency in several key areas. These include surgical repair for head trauma and surgical repair of skull defects or deformities. They should be skilled in surgery for the cervical and thoracic/lumbar spine or able to recognize and manage these cases with backup or referral, with the on-call neurosurgeon responsible for management and coordination. Additionally, candidates must be capable of both surgical and non-surgical management of injuries involving peripheral nerves and able to interpret appropriate diagnostic imaging studies.
