Neurosurgeon needed in Georgia

Job description

• Support staff: 2 MDs in group, no APP support
• Schedule Details: Call only, 10-13 days a month
Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Avg. Daily Census: they usually get called back in 2-3 times a month. Typically they get the report and add the patient to the OR the following day most often.
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: Cranial, spine, and stroke mostly. Neurosurgery need a general neurosurgeon who can take hospital ER (cranial, spine, stroke)
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d: Neurosurgery
• State License(s): GA
• Certifications:
• Beds: 500+
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 1 year
Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days; temps may be allowed
Willing To License?: yes if IMLC eligible but will look at GA licensed providers first

• Ongoing for 6 months
• 24 Hour On Call
