East Texas Neurosurgery Locum – High-Complexity Caseload
Job description
An elite outpatient surgical center in East Texas is seeking a skilled Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon to join their team starting June 3, 2025. This facility handles a high-complexity case mix ranging from trauma to endovascular interventions across all age groups, including neonates.
Position Snapshot:
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing, with 13-week initial commitment preferred
• Schedule: Weekday shifts (7 AM – 3 PM) plus on-call (schedule TBD)
• Setting: Outpatient surgical clinic with hospital-based call
• EMR: CPSI (streamlined system)
Clinical Scope:
• Diverse neurosurgical volume including spinal (instrumented/non-instrumented), cranial, skull base, and trauma cases
• Functional neurosurgery including radiosurgery, seizure, and pain interventions
• Cerebrovascular procedures (open and endovascular)
• Advanced ICU support: ICP monitoring, central lines, vent management
• Patient population spans Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal
