OB Hospitalist – California | 13-Hour Night Shifts | No Call

Job description

We're seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist for a flexible, high-impact role in California. This opportunity offers consistent night shifts and the ability to make a meaningful difference in a hospital setting that supports collaborative care.

📌 Position Highlights:
Consistent Schedule: 13-hour night shifts (7p–8a) with no call required; 10–15 shifts/month.

Clinical Focus: Manage 5–8 labor patients/night with 1–2 ED consults; operative delivery skills (incl. forceps) highly preferred.

Collaborative Care Model: Work closely with midwives in a diverse patient population; Spanish-speaking candidates highly preferred.

Work Details:

Patient Population: Adult

EMR: Epic

Special Notes: Facility performs abortions; locums not required to perform them, but may manage related complications.

Requirements:

Board Certification: ABOG BC strongly preferred; will consider truly board eligible

License: CA license & CA DEA required

Certifications: BLS required

Experience: Minimum 2 years as an OB
