Perm - Physician - Hospitalist - OB Salinas, CA

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to join a dedicated and collaborative team providing high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care in a well-supported hospital environment. Responsibilities:
Provide 24-hour OB Emergency Department (OB ED) coverage
Manage obstetric emergencies, triage cases, and inpatient OB patients
Attend deliveries (low volume due to robust community OB support)
Assist in gynecologic and obstetric surgeries
Monitor fetal well-being and manage labor progression
Work in modern labor and delivery suites with MFM consultation support
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, including a Level III NICU team
Ensure round-the-clock, in-house hospitalist coverage.

Certification & License Requirements:
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN
California Medical License (Active)

• Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-Based
• Schedule: 7–8 24-hour shifts per month (full-time); Minimum 6 shifts/month for benefits eligibility
• 24-hour OB Emergency Department (OB ED) coverage
