OB Hospitalist Opportunity – Northern California Nights Only!

Job description

Join a well-supported hospital in Northern California offering flexible night shifts for experienced OB Hospitalists. Whether you're available for 2 shifts a month or 15, this facility is open to working with your schedule. Work in a collaborative environment alongside midwives and other OB professionals, managing active labor cases with no call requirements.

Assignment Details:

Schedule: 13-hour night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.), with final hour for handoffs

Call: None

Shifts Needed: 10–15 per month, open to as few as 2/month

Volume: 5–8 laboring patients/night, 1–2 ED consults/night

Setting: Inpatient – Hospital

EMR: EPIC

Support: Team-based care with midwives and access to free shuttle from BART

Requirements:

CA Medical License and CA DEA required

ABOG Board Certified (strongly preferred) or Truly Board Eligible

BLS Certification

Ideally 2+ years’ experience as an OB Hospitalist (new grads considered)

Experience with operative deliveries (forceps preferred)

Willingness to manage complications from abortion procedures (not perform them)

Spanish-speaking and midwife collaboration experience preferred
