OB Hospitalist/Laborist Opportunity in Maryland

Contract Length: 6–12 months
Shifts: 12- or 24-hour shifts

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB Hospitalist/Laborist for a hospital-based role at a busy Level II trauma center with a 180-bed facility. This laborist-only position focuses exclusively on labor and delivery—no outpatient or pre/postnatal responsibilities. Nurse midwives support the team to ensure smooth patient care.

Position Highlights:

Focused Laborist Role: Manage 4–5 deliveries per 24-hour shift in a high-acuity OB department.

Strong Support Team: Collaborate closely with skilled nurse midwives for comprehensive patient care.

Efficient Workflow: Work within a Cerner EMR environment at a well-established hospital with Level II trauma designation.

Requirements:

Board Certification in OB

Active state medical license, DEA, and CSR

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Minimum experience required (please inquire)

Willingness to credential (60–90 days); NO licensing assistance available
