Locum Tenens GYN (Call-Only)

Job description

We are actively recruiting Board-Certified OBGYN physicians to provide call-only locum coverage for emergent GYN procedures at a hospital in Montana. This is an inpatient-only opportunity—no deliveries or OB management, with a focus solely on urgent/emergent gynecologic care.

Assignment Details:

🕒 Schedule:

Week-long blocks: Sunday AM to Sunday AM

24-hour pager call shifts

Providers must commit to at least 1 full week per month (consecutive days only)

Providers offering less than 1 week/month will not be considered

🩺 Workload & Scope:

Average 1–2 patients per shift

No OB or deliveries

No NICU

Emergent GYN only

Must be comfortable with both diagnostic and operative procedures

🔧 Skills Required:

Minor/Laparoscopic: Tubal ligation, LOA’s, chromopertubation

Major: Ectopic pregnancy, cystectomy, oophorectomy, extensive LOA’s

Requirements:

Board Certification in OB/GYN

Active MT license or IMLC

BLS Certification

Comfortable managing emergent GYN-only cases

Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
