🌸 New OBGYN Locum Assignment – Central North Carolina | Full-Time | 13 Weeks + Ongoing Need

Job description

📅 Assignment Overview:
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (with ongoing extension potential)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM
 – Arrive by 7:30AM if scheduled for C-section, then transition to clinic
• Call:
 – 1:4 Weekend Call (Fri 8A – Sun 8A)
 – Weekday Backup Call (2 days on, 2 days off rotation)
 – Backup to midwife, on-call only if working in clinic

👥 Team Structure: MDs and Midwives
👶 Patient Volume: Low; ages 16–65
📊 Acuity: Mostly routine OB/GYN, some high-risk; ~450 births/year

🛠 Procedures & Scheduling:
• C-sections: Scheduled Wed–Fri (clinic days)
• GYN surgeries: Performed Mondays, 7:30AM–2:30PM
• After procedures, provider transitions to clinic to complete 8-hour day
• Ultrasound reading experience preferred

🖥 EMR: Epic (experience required)
