Job description
OB/GYN – Locum Tenens
Start Date: September 8, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed – can be less than 30 days)
Contract Length: 3 months with option to continue until the position is permanently filled
Employment Type: 1099
Schedule & Coverage
Shift Type: 24-hour beeper call (off-site)
Call Ratio: 1:4
Clinic: Optional, if provider wants
Coverage Needed: 2–4 weeks per month
Shift Schedule: Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Work Details
Support Staff: CNMs, CRNA for anesthesia, Family Medicine MD for newborn care, 2 full-time OB/GYNs, and 2 locums in rotation
Setting: Small facility (40 beds); provider may be the primary/solo OB on site
Call Volume: Ranges from ~2 calls over a weekend up to 6–7 depending on volume
OB Volume: ~15 deliveries/month
EMR: Epic
Requirements
Board Certification: Required
State License: Required (willing to license if needed)
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Procedures: Must be able to perform laparoscopic GYN cases
Vaccines: COVID-19 required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
