OBGYN Locum Opportunity – Virginia | 13-Week Contract | Clinic + Call Coverage

Job description

A well-established medical center in Virginia is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN to provide 13 weeks of locum coverage starting September 22, 2025. This is a full-scope opportunity with clinic hours, deliveries, and scheduled call in a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: September 22, 2025

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Call: 1:6 rotation (scheduled plus call)

Practice Setting: Clinic + Hospital

EMR: EPIC

Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days

License Requirement: Active Virginia license

Board Status: BC or BE with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

DEA: Required

Name clear process: Required prior to presentation

146-bed acute care medical center

Level II Nursery

Supported by 5 Board-Certified OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and a Certified Nurse Midwife

Avg. 70–75 deliveries and 20–25 non-obstetrical surgeries/month

• Team-Based Model: Work alongside a well-rounded OB team with experienced physicians, mid-levels, and midwives.
• Full-Scope Experience: Balanced schedule of clinic, surgery, and deliveries at a facility averaging 70+ births/month.
