OB/GYN – 24-Hour Inpatient Call Coverage | July & PRN

Job description

A Virginia hospital is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for inpatient-only 24-hour call coverage. The initial need is for July 3–8, with ongoing PRN opportunities available thereafter. This role includes coverage of Labor & Delivery only, with a manageable monthly delivery volume and support from a strong clinical team.

Assignment Details:
Coverage Type: Inpatient-only 24-hour call (7 AM – 7 AM)
Initial Dates Needed: July 3–8
Ongoing: PRN
Call Frequency: As needed; 24-hour inpatient call
Privileging Timeframe: ~45 days
Facility Details:
Department: Labor & Delivery (OB/GYN)
Patient Volume: 27–34 deliveries per month
Patient Age Range: 15–45
Support Staff: L&D RNs, On-Call Pediatrics, On-Call Anesthesia
Procedures: Vaginal deliveries and C-sections only (VBACs not supported)
Additional Info: Clean files only

Virginia State Medical License – Required
