OBGYN Locum – Inpatient Call Coverage in Southwest Virginia

A well-supported acute care facility in Southwest Virginia is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN for locum tenens coverage. This role is 100% inpatient with a clear call structure, no outpatient responsibilities, and an excellent clinical support team. Ideal for physicians seeking predictable 24hr shifts and PRN flexibility.

Assignment Details:
• Position Type: Locum Tenens
• Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Start Date: July 3, 2025
• Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7a–7a)
• Shift Format: Initial block (July 3–8), then PRN
• Setting: Inpatient only – No clinic or rounds
• Volume: ~30 deliveries/month
• Procedures: Vaginal deliveries and C-sections (No VBACs)
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: L&D RNs, 24/7 on-call pediatrics and anesthesia
• Equipment: JADE fetal monitoring system

Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC/BE in OBGYN (preferred)
• License: Active Virginia license required (no IMLC, not licensing)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
• Other: Clean credentialing file required
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~45 days
