OBGYN Locums in Rural Virginia for Beeper Call Coverage

Specialty: OBGYN
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details: At least 4 (24) hour beeper call shifts per month

Work Details:
Support staff: 5 Board-Certified OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and a Certified Nurse Midwife

Amount of coverage needed per month: At least 4, 24-hour call shifts per month
Call Coverage responsibilities: All OB services on labor and delivery, Unassigned OB GYN call for the hospital

Department description: Practice averages 70-75 deliveries and 20-25 non-obstetrical surgeries per month.

EMR: EPIC

Hospital bed size: 146-bed acute-care medical center with excellent support staff and a medical staff of 280 physicians, representing a broad range of specialists, and a Level II Nursery.

Special procedures:
Skills required: OB GYN core with minor GYN surgical


Requirements:
Board Certification: BC American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
License required: VA
DEA: Required
