APP-Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care (CICU) in Massachusetts

Job description

Start Date: As soon as privileges are issued
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week, 50/50 days and nights, every 3rd weekend

Work Details:
• Support staff: RN, APP, attendings
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 12 shifts per month between 2 providers
• Patients per day: 5-12
• Patient population/age: peds
• Department description: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 477
• Special procedures: Working in the CICU, with the ability to take care of highly acute cardiac patients.
• Skills required: Critical care experience, postoperative cardiac management, exp with congenital heart defects, must have pediatric CICU experience

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: ANCC or AANP
• State license required: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
