Pain Management Provider

Job description

Perform acts of advanced assessment, diagnosis, prescription, selection and administration of therapeutic measures and treatment regimes
Consult, plan and implement collaborative management, referrals, or transfer of care as appropriate
Practice within standards consistent with those established by the National Council of the New Hampshire State Board of Nursing
Recognize limits of knowledge and experience and plan for the management of situations beyond own expertise
Maintain up to date and timely records and documentation
Allocate sufficient time as is reasonably necessary for effective patient care; typically 40 hours per week
Maintain confidentiality as it applies to all state, federal and company guidelines
Provide full time services including:
Pain evaluations
Consultation and referral
Routine office visits
Medication management (including narcotic analgesics)
Referral to intervention lists when appropriate
Order urine toxicology screens, pill counts, MRIs, EMGs, or radiologic studies as indicated
Cover emergency calls for own patients

• M-Th 8-4, no weekends
